Conscious Step

Conscious Step was founded by three friends who were deeply concerned with the gravity of the world’s toughest problems, like hunger, HIV, education, and the environment. They felt the awareness surrounding these issues and the organizations fighting them was lacking. And they felt that if we are to have real a chance to rid our world of these problems, ordinary people needed to play a larger part in their solutions.
 
They combined their passions and collective work experience to create Conscious Step. Each pair of socks is fashionably designed, ethically manufactured, and uniquely able to make a difference. The company partners with reputable non-profits—including Room to Read, Action Against Hunger, Trees for the Future, and UNAIDS—to tackle priorities highlighted by the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
